Types of Investment:
Eos invests equity capital in businesses under-going ownership transition, subsidiary divestitures, management buyouts or recapitalizations and is comfortable with both control and minority investments. We are willing to be creative in structuring transactions in order to accommodate disparate goals and objectives of all constituents involved, including different sellers, investors and managers.
Management Buyouts - Company valuations for targeted buyout transactions typically range from $30 million to $500 million. In structuring our transactions, we believe that prudent capitalizations are critical to permit each company to achieve its long-term strategic plan.
Recapitalizations and Shareholder Liquidity Investments - Eos seeks to invest in situations where the owners of a company seek to realize cash proceeds from their business while retaining a substantial ongoing equity interest. These situations may include family-owned businesses looking to effect a generational transfer, diversify personal net worth, or in some cases, generate cash for current shareholders.
Growth/Acquisition Capital - Eos targets investments in later-stage growth companies where there is a proven business model and strong management. These companies will typically have a vision for rapid growth, but require capital to execute their plans and grow to a scale in which they can realistically pursue an initial public offering or other liquidity options. Eos also backs management teams in consolidating fragmented industries by providing additional growth capital to fund both internal growth and/or acquisitions.
