In 1995, Eos participated in FrontierVision's equity financing of $123 million. Frontier Vision was established with two experienced cable executives to acquire and operate regionally clustered rural cable systems. The company controlled over 500,000 subscribers, principally in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Maine, when it was sold to Adelphia Communications in 1999.
