In 1999, Eos invested in Bargo Energy Company, an oil and gas exploration and development company, as part of a total $50 million financing. Bargo was run by a management team with a proven track record of acquiring properties and enhancing their value through the use of new technologies and intensive engineering. The company merged with Mission Resources in 2001.
